About Private &
Group Sessions

I provide one-on-one private sessions and also group sessions. All skill levels are welcome Sessions are 90 minutes. We will meet 45 minutes before Golden hour (430pm) at the Newport Beach Pier I will provide a forecast of different variables such as weather, tides, clouds, wind, and atmospheric conditions and how they will affect our Photography session and images the day of. During each session you will learn how to take an amazing sunset photo and a landscape photo of the pier with the sunset. I teach both the artistic and Technical side to creating an amazing sunset photo.

We will discuss:
1. The exposure triangle and how it relates to your camera settings in capturing an amazing sunset photo.
2. Compositional principals (rule of 3rds, circular, subframing, lines, etc.) To best capture your sunset
3. Creating depth in your images with The use of creative foreground elements to showcase the pier, ocean, sky, and sunset.
4. Using Kelvin, color, and filters to make the sunset and sky pop.
5. Basics of how to edit your photo on your phone using the Snapseed app.
